-It is in the Pacific Ocean aproximately 200 miles off the coast of Southern California.  San Pedro is located in its RL location in Los Angeles, with Tinseltown (Formerly Hollywood) north of it.
-Hope Island would be west of there about 200 miles.  It is supposed to be several days sailing to get between there and San Pedro, but due to the size of the MUCK people tend to treat the travel time as much shorter.  Realism has to take a back seat to fun sometimes.
